#71 Aluminum Brazing Flux
The thorough cleaning action of this flux
ensures quick melting and easy spreading of the filler metal.
Prevents formation of oxides at the brazing temperature,
allowing deep penetration of the rod metal, for a strong,
smooth joint.* Recommended for use with #718 Aluminum
Brazing Rods.
Working Range: Approximately 915° - 1115° F
Use dry or make a paste. Apply to cleaned metal;
apply heat, when flux flows apply brazing rod.**
Sizes: 1/4 lb - 1/2 lb - 1 lb
AWS Classification: Type l
*Used for aluminum and aluminum alloys at temperatures
of 1050° F and above.
**Designed specifically for torch and furnace
brazing operations.
#96 Silver Brazing Flux
