#50 - 50/50 Paste Solder
The right combination of solder and flux for the
best soldering results. Standard mix 50/50 - 325 mesh solder.
Other alloys available. Excellent for all automatic soldering
operations.
For sweat soldering apply paste liberally to general area.
Join surfaces and heat by torch. DO NOT APPLY FLAME DIRECTLY
TO PASTE. Wipe residue with a damp cloth after bubbling has
stopped. The basic idea behind sweat soldering is to heat
the surrounding metal which in turn melts the paste which
then activates the flux and the metal.
By Weight:
2 oz - 1/4 lb - 1/2 lb - 1 lb
#54 Tinning Compound
Perfect for preparing surfaces for soldering. For tinning
inside of containers and tanks (dairies, laundries, food vats).
Can be used on steel, brass copper, cast iron, malleable iron,
and stainless steel. Removes paint, rust, grease, and oxides,
and tins the metal—all in one operation. No acids needed;
grinding of surfaces unnecessary.
Apply paste to surface to be tinned. Heat adjacent metal
with soldering iron or torch. When the tinning compound
flows, brush or wipe off excess.
By Weight:
2 oz - 1/4 lb - 1/2 lb - 1 lb
